One of my favorite things about photographing families is that I don't have to play mom myself, and instead I get an outsider's perspective and appreciation for everything a mom does. Cate's husband unfortunately had to work last minute, so she was braving Disney on her own with her four kids. What a boss mom! The way she was able to give each of her kids the attention they needed was beautiful. And the way she was able to corral her kids this way or that was professional. So much of what makes a magical childhood is the love and affection from a mother. And Cate was loving, capable, kind, patient, attentive...aka MAGIC.
